Sustainability and taking care of our own planet have always been essential for us. We are on the mission to minimize useless one-time packaging.
We all buy products we need and, after receiving all the excessive packaging ends up immediately in the garbage bin. This needs to change! We are sure that Upcycling and closing the loop is the best thing we can do for our environment. We need to design and use smarter packaging for the sake of our planet.
Dreamsville introduces Upcycled packaging for the weighted blankets.
We dug deep into searching for the perfect package for our weighted blankets. Many research and lots of coffees later decided to team up with a local Estonian furniture producer called Softrend. We have the same values and goals in sustainability, so this decision was easy.
We use Softrend production leftovers (pre-consumer waste) to make trendy shipping-carry bags for our weighted blankets. They are durable because its made from long-lasting sofa fabrics. And what’s even better? You can use this bag as a shopping bag, carry bag, workout-bag, or a weekender! It’s entirely up to you how you want to use your weighted blanket package.
The best thing is that this creates more value for the textiles and keeps them out from waste-burning and landfills.
